I ended up spending most of the time talking with the distributor and shop staff, and before I knew it, time had just flown by.
Fortunately, just before leaving, I had the chance to test ride the current MAGMA V2 model.

自分の MAGMA と比べてみますが、あくまで個人的な感想なので、実際とは異なる部分もあると思います

The MAGMA has high stiffness, and the power you put into the pedals feels like it transfers directly to the bike.
I think it suits racers or those who prefer a more direct riding feel.

To be honest, I was really surprised by how quickly the V2 accelerates.
As soon as I pushed on the pedals, it moved forward effortlessly — the responsiveness was better than I expected.
エアロ性能も進化しているし、快適性も損なわれていないので、ロングライドにも向いていそうです

It feels like they’ve kept what was great about the first generation while refining the overall design. The bike seems very well put together — I’d say the level of finish is impressively high.

Since a lot of parts aren’t installed yet, it’s incredibly light.

The new frame is the AURUM MAGMA.
It’s not the latest model—but that’s exactly what makes it special.

I’ve always been interested in AURUM, partly because I was a fan of Contador and Basso.
Thanks to a series of fortunate connections, I finally got my hands on one. Grateful!

I brought the frame to MAGNET (@magnet_ssc).
It matches the shop’s vibe perfectly—looks amazing.

I’m tempted to just leave it on display there forever (just kidding).

It’ll be a little while before the full build is ready, but I’m really looking forward to it!

After I ordered the frame, I was looking at other photos and noticed a spot on the down tube where the Di2 junction box could be embedded. I thought, “Nice, that’ll make things really clean!” But when I looked closely at the actual frame, it wasn’t there. Seriously? What a shock… I wonder why.

But then I realized—maybe it’s because the 12-speed Di2 doesn’t use a junction box anymore… That makes sense.

Lastly, I took a commemorative photo near the Gas Bridge along the Tamagawa River.
It was surprisingly light after removing the lights and parts.

Because it’s brand new and not broken in, I repeatedly did stop-and-go on the way to the meeting spot to help it bed in.
The braking is really good!

I visited TRYCLE to check out some things, and then enjoyed a Paris sandwich for lunch at Cross Coffee.
I’ve never been here before.
It was a little spicy and really tasty.

I cycled on Onekan and came to Tsurumi River Source for the first time. I had no idea there was a place like this.
It seems like the truth of it is unclear…

I rode just over 50 km. Despite the rain, I had a good time.
I want to increase the effort a little more on my next ride.

Oh, I also switched the stem back to the Shimano Pro PLT 100mm.
I think this length fits me better.

東京都稲城市の多摩川河川敷で行うシクロクロスレース。主催はChampion System Japan。ビギナーを中心とした自転車を楽しむ普及イベントとして、2月と10月に開催しています。

ひさしぶりに稲城クロス会場に行きました。年々参加者も観戦者も増えている様な感じですね。自分もシクロクロス車が欲しいところですが、お金もないし、置き場所もないし、もう少し様子を見ます。

会場をぶらぶらしてブースで見かけて一目惚れしたポーチがこちら。

お店の方に聞いたところウェブショップもあるそうなので帰ってゆっくりと検討してみよう、とその場では買わずに写真だけ撮影して帰る。

帰ってから調べてみる。cycloneさんのInstagramを見てたらこの柄のポーチは1点だけぽい。1点だけと言われるとますます欲しくなる！

cycloneさんのウェブショップを見てみたけど見つからない。売り切れちゃったのかなー。悲しい。

ダメ元で問い合わせをしてみたらまだ在庫があるそうで無事に入手することが出来ました！やったー。
かなりのお気に入りで購入してからずっと使っています。
