Since it’s been a while since Oni-sama last rode,
we picked a flat route with little traffic.
We went from the Tamagawa River, through the Asakawa River, and all the way to Takao.

Along the way, we stopped here and there,
took breaks, admired the koinobori(carp streamers), and cruised just under 80km.

It was a relaxed pace, but I could still feel how good the AURUM rides (maybe it's just a placebo).

Oni-sama was totally wiped out by the time we got home—
but honestly, that’s the perfect amount of tired.

Golden Week isn’t over yet.

Maybe it’s the contrast from riding a gravel bike until last week,
but this thing feels incredibly light and fast.
It’s so fun, I couldn’t help but laugh—what a ride.

Planning to spend more time getting to know it through the rest of Golden Week.

That said, one thing I can’t stop thinking about
is the cable routing through the head tube.
I’m a bit worried about how it might hold up
when turning the bars sharply—or in the rain…

Even if the bearings rust, I guess it’s just a matter of replacing them.
構造的にちょっと手間がかかりそうな気がしています

That said—
there’s no doubt this is a seriously amazing bike.
It’s pure excitement.

Has it really been since the new year? I’ve noticed canola flowers blooming along my commute route by the Tamagawa River, and I’ve been meaning to take a photo for a while. Finally, I was able to capture them!
The canola flowers are so beautiful, and with the cherry blossoms blooming nearby, I’m looking forward to seeing the sakura on the yellow carpet of flowers soon.

Although it’s gradually getting colder, cycling is still so much fun.
Yesterday, the headwind along the Tamagawa was really strong, so I took a different route home with more hills, and I was completely exhausted.
. I used to be able to ride like a breeze when I was younger…

A clockwise loop starting from Umikaze Park in Yokosuka.
The route was mostly coastal.

Stopped by Jizakana Ryori Matsuwa in Matsuwa for a local seafood lunch.
It was the Sazanami set meal. The deep-fried horse mackerel fillets were thick and incredibly “umamuma” (so delicious)!
I hope to catch and eat Matsuwa’s mackerel again someday.

I went to the dried fish shop, #Yamaharu, in Jogashima.
I couldn’t buy anything today, but the squid, mackerel, sardines, and tuna all looked delicious.
I’ll go buy them next time.

The final stop was at #Marlowe for some pudding.

When I was about to depart, I noticed the front tire had a slow puncture…
I managed to reach the goal safely while refilling the air.

I guess I’ll have to replace the tube.

汗ダラダラ、水分を多めに。
取りすぎてタプタプになって苦しくなるのはいつも通り……

95kmを走ったのは久しぶりかもしれない
でもまだまだ走れそうだなぁ
